The opportunity

Recruiter’s existing website had outgrown its legacy platform. The project needed to preserve and migrate a substantial content archive while introducing a new look, a more maintainable architecture, and better publishing tools.

I worked across the front and back end at Redactive, collaborating with Code Enigma on the migration.

The approach

Code Enigma produced the migration scripts while I designed the Drupal architecture that would receive and organise the migrated data. That meant thinking through content types, relationships, views, panels, and the needs of the editorial team before applying the new visual language.

Once the structure was in place, I developed the theme and supporting modules required to translate the designs into a flexible publishing experience.

Contribution

  • Defined the Drupal architecture for the migrated content estate.
  • Collaborated with the migration team on data requirements and integration.
  • Built custom modules, views, panels, and front-end theming.
  • Delivered responsive templates for editorial and recruitment content.
