The opportunity
The RNLI wanted to help children understand beach safety through an experience that felt playful and memorable rather than instructional.
The result was a three-part game built around short challenges and familiar beach scenarios.
The experience
Players help characters swim between the safety flags, position the correct flags on the beach, and identify children who need to buddy up before entering the water. Each interaction turns a safety principle into something children can actively practise.
Contribution
- Developed the front-end interactions for all three game stages.
- Translated safety guidance into clear, age-appropriate tasks.
- Created mouse-driven controls and responsive visual feedback.
- Worked within a wider campaign delivered by Proximity London.

The game formed part of a wider child-friendly summer safety campaign.

Digital interactions and physical campaign activity reinforced the same safety principles.
